Fayence is a picturesque medieval hilltop village in the Var department of southeastern France, within the Provence–Alpes–Côte d’Azur region. Fayence embodies the classic Provençal aesthetic: narrow cobbled lanes, stone houses with terracotta roofs, shaded squares, fountains, cafés, and artisan workshops. Fayence lies roughly 30 km from Draguignan, 25–30 km from Grasse, about 45 minutes from the French Riviera coast, and near the scenic Lac de Saint-Cassien. It serves as an excellent base for exploring the surrounding hill villages of the Pays de Fayence and the eastern Provence countryside.
We still have open dates for July, August, and the best time to travel to Provence is the months of September and October. The weather is still warm for the pool season.
