Provence in September/October

Pool season runs through the end of October

We all have our preferences for the time of year to travel. Provence is my favourite time to visit, in September and October. The landscape changes from the intense summer to harvest time! Fewer crowds, same warm temperature without the bite. The Vendange, or the grape harvest, keeps the wineries bustling and your glasses full. In October, it's still pool season; Provence is the culinary month! Truffles, mushrooms and olive oil as the harvest begins. The villages return to their cute normal. Contact your Uncle Charlie.
