Welcome to Provence – Discover the Enchanting Village of Fayence

Villa Maribergue. The best time to visit Provence is in the Spring and Fall. Off season, you will still find Provence's warmth and enjoy a dip in the pool. The average temperatures are about 20C/68°F-70°F

Maribergue is in one of the most beautiful villages in France, with a lovely pool in a huge park of olive and cypress trees. You'll love the relaxing, essence of Provence, yet with access to swimming in nearby Lac de Saint Cassien, the sea at Cannes (30 mins), the perfume of Grasse and local vineyards.

The Villa Meribergue is nestled in the heart of Provence’s rolling hills and bathed in golden sunlight, the village of Fayence invites you to experience the timeless beauty and gentle pace of southern France. This picturesque hilltop village, with its cobblestone streets, terracotta rooftops, and sweeping views over the Esterel mountains, is a true Provençal gem.

Fayence is more than just a destination – it's a feeling. Stroll through its vibrant local markets, where the scents of lavender, rosemary, and sun-ripened produce fill the air. Enjoy a glass of rosé on a shady terrace, savouring the rhythm of village life. Here, tradition and tranquillity blend effortlessly with the elegance of French country living.

Our house is one of the original houses in Fayence, called Maribergue as the married shepherds used to live here in the winter among their olive tree, ancient stone terraces.

Guest access

7 bedrooms, 5 with queen size beds, and two with twin single beds, 4 bathrooms with showers, 1 with bath tub, a sitting and reading room, and a high ceiling dining room with glass doors leading to wrap around terraces and the pool. (Please Note: The use of Pool season begins on the last weekend of April through 31st of October) The house is an oasis located in a huge park of terraced olive groves. The pool has an alarm and cover and is uniquely situated among olive trees and provencal terraces.

Whether you're drawn by the region’s rich history, its outdoor adventures – like gliding at the nearby airfield – or simply the joy of slowing down in a stunning setting, Fayence offers an unforgettable escape.

Bienvenue à Fayence – your Provençal dream awaits.
